Mumbai, April 05, 2021: Hyundai Motor India Ltd. (HMIL), country’s first smart mobility solutions provider and the largest exporter since inception, today announced the landmark achievement of over 1 Million ‘Made in India’ SUVs sold cumulatively across domestic and export markets.

Commenting on the landmark achievement, Mr. Tarun Garg, Director (Sales, Marketing & Service), Hyundai Motor India Ltd., said, “We are extremely grateful for the love and trust our customers have presented in Hyundai branded SUVs. Launched in 2015, CRETA was an instant hit amongst the masses. Over the years since launch, CRETA has been a best seller for HMIL, recording the cumulative sale of over 5.9 lakh units in the domestic market and over 2.2 lakh units in the export market. Similarly, VENUE was introduced in 2019 as the country’s first Connected SUV. With segment first and best features like Blue Link Connected Technology, 1.0 l Turbo GDi Petrol BS6 engine and 7-Speed DCT, VENUE was able to raise the benchmark in the fast-growing compact SUV segment and carve a niche for itself. HMIL has already sold over 1.8 lakh units of VENUE in the domestic market.

On this historic moment, Hyundai SUV supremacy campaign has been released which showcases the Hyundai current SUV portfolio in their individual natural habitats and brand imagery. The thought behind the campaign is to showcase the imagery of the customers who live Hyundai SUV life. These customers are people who not only overcome their challenges but also have a unique and aspirational mind-set for their lifestyle they want to lead. The campaign will commence from today on mediums like TV & Digital. The campaign will be show cased in various impact properties like IPL among various others.
