Reliance Group Chairman Anil Ambani said on Tuesday that he has paid a loan of 35 thousand crore rupees in the last 14 months. He also said that in the coming time, he will also pay the rest of the debt. Ambani said this to the media during a conference call.

According to Ambani, the group companies whose debts were repaid for 35 thousand crore rupees include Reliance Power, Reliance Infra and Reliance Capital. Ambani said, “Reliance Group has paid a total debt of more than Rs 35,000 crore in a period of 14 months from April 2018 to May 2019.”

These include principal payment of Rs 25,000 crore and interest payment of about Rs 11,000 crore. He claimed that Reliance Group will pay off all its debt in the future. RCom was trading at Rs 1.75, down 2.78 percent. The Reliance Power stock was trading 2.61 percent down at Rs 5.6.

Anil Ambani also spoke on the ongoing rumors about the company’s shares. He said that in the last few weeks, illegal rumors, speculation about the shares of all Reliance Group companies have caused serious damage to all our stakeholders.

Ambani assured all investors that he is committed to paying all the borrowers on time. Blaming regulatory institutions and courts for some of his group’s problems, he said the group faced a hurdle in getting the dues of over Rs 30,000 crore due to the delay in passing the judgment.
