After being rumored to be rolling out free in-flight Wi-Fi in 2023, the 2 firms have confirmed in a press launch that the brand new profit shall be rolling out to Delta SkyMiles Members beginning on February 1. T-Mobile clients have been having fun with free Wi-Fi on Delta for some time now, however this yr the 2 firms will roll it out to anybody who flies on the airline so long as they’ve a free SkyMiles membership.

Mike Sievert, the T-Mobile CEO, mentioned in an announcement that staying related on flights needs to be an “easy, seamless experience.”

Delta CEO Ed Bastian mentioned in an announcement that the transfer is a part of the corporate’s effort to ship a “differentiated onboard experience.”

Delta’s new partnership with T-Mobile signifies another exciting step forward as we lead the industry in delivering a differentiated onboard experience that’s as comfortable and personalized as sitting in your own living room.”

The firms say that in-flight Wi-Fi will begin to roll out for home flights within the United States beginning on February 1 and increase to an estimated 700 flights by the top of 2023. The firms plan to develop the service to regional and worldwide flights beginning subsequent yr. All clients might want to do is log into their free Delta SkyMiles account.
