The end of August short interest represents 3.40 days average daily Nasdaq Global Market share volume for the reporting period, compared with 2.70 days for the prior reporting period.
Short interest in 1,771 securities on The Nasdaq Capital MarketSM totaled 1,740,359,933 shares at the end of the settlement date of August 31, 2023 compared with 2,056,890,999 shares in 1,769 securities for the previous reporting period.
