In the sixth match of IPL, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 6 runs. At one time, this match was out of Bengaluru’s hands. But Shahbaz Ahmed, who came to bowl in the 17th over, overturned the game. Taking 3 wickets in his single over, he snatched the match from Hyderabad and put it in Bangalore. Who is Shahbaz Ahmed?

26-year-old Shahbaz Ahmed hails from Haryana, crossing the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) Naiyya against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH). Born on 12 December 1994 in Mewat, Haryana, Shahbaz started his first-class cricket career in 2018-19. He played his debut match for Bengal in the Vijay Hazare tournament on 20 September 2018. On 14 December this year, he also played Ranji Trophy for Bengal. Talking about T20, he started the journey with the Syed Mustar Ali Trophy.

Talk of statistics, he has played 13 First Class, 21 List-A and 25 T20 matches in his career so far. In List-A cricket, he has a total of 435 runs and 18 wickets with a century in his name .. While in First Class cricket, he has scored 559 runs. His name also has 37 wickets recorded. In this series, he has scored 195 runs in 25 matches in T20 cricket, while in bowling, he has a total of 24 wickets in his name.
