TASHKENT, Uzbekistan, September 19. President
of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev mentioned new areas of mutually
useful cooperation with Managing Director of the International
Monetary Fund (IMF) Kristalina Georgieva, Trend stories.

During the assembly, the events exchanged views on the
growth of the worldwide financial scenario and mentioned the
problems with additional enlargement of cooperation, particularly within the
context of the agreements reached through the assembly between
Uzbekistan and the IMF in June 2023 in Uzbekistan’s Samarkand.

The contributors mentioned the IMF’s participation in conducting
a complete evaluation of the soundness of the nationwide monetary
sector, offering advisory help in growing proposals for
enhancing financial coverage, and implementing a program to extend
the capability of specialists in Uzbekistan.

of irreversible reforms in Uzbekistan and expressed readiness to

within the nation.

In a earlier assembly between Shavkat Mirziyoyev and Kristalina
Georgieva in Uzbekistan’s Samarkand, the events mentioned reforms
