UN pronounces quantity of funds spent on initiatives in Azerbaijan for 2022

AGHDAM, Azerbaijan, March 16. The UN allotted
$37 million for numerous initiatives in Azerbaijan final 12 months, the UN
Resident Coordinator within the nation Vladanka Andreeva stated throughout
the strategic consultations on cooperation between Azerbaijan and
the UN in Aghdam, Trend stories.

According to Andreeva, environmental safety, gender equality
points and sustainable growth targets are precedence areas of
bilateral cooperation between the UN and Azerbaijan.

“The Framework Agreement, signed two years in the past, demonstrated the
vary of our cooperation from 2021 to 2025,” she stated.

Andreeva pressured that the elimination of the mine risk is one
of an important areas of cooperation.

Azerbaijan’s Aghdam hosts strategic consultations on cooperation
between Azerbaijan and the UN.

The occasion is attended by the heads of Azerbaijan’s Ministries of
Ecology and Natural Resources, Agriculture, and Health, the State
Committee on Urban Planning and Architecture, the State Committee
for Family, Women, and Children, the Azerbaijan National Agency for
Mine Action (ANAMA), Special Representatives of the President of
Azerbaijan, staff of the Presidential Administration
represented within the Interdepartmental Center working beneath the
Coordination Headquarters, in addition to senior officers of the
places of work of UN companies working in Azerbaijan.
