(Transport Corridor Europe-Caucasus-Asia) helps simplification
and digitalization of customs procedures, Secretary General of the
Permanent Secretariat of the Intergovernmental Commission (IGC) of
TRACECA Asset Assavbayev stated, Trend reviews.
He made the comment throughout a multilateral assembly on
the challenge to simplify the transit customs process on the
precept of “single window” as a part of the Trans-Caspian
East-West-Middle Corridor.
According to him, the IGC is actively engaged on these
processes with its collaborating nations
“We are assured that digitalization will improve
the attractiveness not solely of the route, but additionally of our area as
a complete and can assist entice extra cargo. TRACECA is able to
assist all constructions within the above processes,” he
added.
Freight transport via the Azerbaijani a part of the
Transport Corridor Europe Caucasus Asia (TRACECA) totaled over
51.42 million tons in 2022, up by 29.76 p.c in opposition to 2021.
