‘Who has seen tomorrow’ is a fact. But, still there is talk on how much the life expectancy (average age) will be. Recently, research has been done on the fact that if a child is born now, then at least how many years of his life will be close. It has been reported around 69 years and 4 months. Globally, it is 72.8 years.

This has been revealed in the research of SRS based Abridged Life Tables 2014-18 by the Registrar General of Census and India.

Chhattisgarh has the lowest life expectancy at the state level in India. The average age of a child or child born there today can be 63 years and 7 months. At the same time, it is 75 years in Delhi and Kerala. In this case, Delhi and Kerala are more than the global average.

Talking about Uttar Pradesh, the country’s largest state, a child born today can keep an average age of around 66 years. At the same time, there will be age around 67 in Madhya Pradesh.

Air pollution is the biggest reason behind the low life expectancy in India. This is also affecting the quality of life of the child. The average life due to poisonous air is estimated to be less than 2 years and 6 months.

What causes low life expectancy

The biggest reason is lack of nutrition. This is followed by pollution and then climate change. These are the reasons which are affecting your health badly. India has only 35 of the 50 most polluted cities in the world. In such a situation, you can understand the seriousness of the situation.

The most worrying thing in this is that out of 1000 children born today, at least 33 children will die before the first birthday. This is a serious statistic. The situation in Madhya Pradesh is worst in this. Here 47 out of 1000 children are of average age less than 12 months.

The situation is also very bad in Assam and Arunachal Pradesh. Out of the 44 in 1000, 42 are children in Arunachal with an average age of less than 12 months. At the same time, the age of 42 in UP is less than 12 months.

Not only this, it has also been told that if these children also live for more than 12 months, then the risk of malnutrition will hover in them. Children will be victims of stunting. That is, they will be younger than other children of their age.

Climate change has also emerged as a major problem for children. According to the report, at the end of the century, the temperature in the country will rise by more than 4.4 degrees Celsius. In such a situation, people will also have to face the increasing climate.
