In the Corona crisis, new rules have been made for people not to go to RTO for work related to DL or other vehicle related documents. Under this, most of the works have been made digital.
Due to the Corona period, people are avoiding getting out of homes. But in the meantime, if you have to get any work related to driving license, registration certificate (RC) and you do not worry about tension. Because under the new government rule, now the drivers will not have to go round the RTO. All the necessary procedures can be done online. Under this, you can also renew the registration certificate (RC) in advance 60 days in advance.
The Ministry of Road Transport & Highways has issued a new guideline for the creation and renewal of Driving License. Under this, people will not have to go to the RTO office for such works during the Corona period. Most of the work will be able to be dealt digitally.
RTO will not go to give test
If you want to get a learner’s license, then you have to go through the process of testing. But in the Corona era, the Ministry of Transport has given the relief and has removed the imperative of going to the RTO and giving the test. Now applicants can apply for this online. They can get help for this only by sitting at home through tutorials.
Expired documents will be considered valid till June 30
Those drivers whose motor vehicle documents such as Driving License (DL), Registration Certificate (RC), Fitness Certificate, Permit etc., which have expired on 1 February 2020, have been given relief under the new guideline. The government has increased their validity limit to 30 June 2021. In such a case, the expired documents will be considered valid till June. Vehicle drivers will not have to fill any challan.
