In connection with this, a case has been registered on Sunday against the Indian Farmers Union (Siddupur) Muktsar president Sukhdev Singh (Sukhdev Singh) and six others for attempting to murder the MLA.

Cases were registered on the complaint of SP Gurmel Singh
Amid widespread condemnation of the incident, Muktsar Superintendent of Police (SP) Gurmel Singh’s complaint, besides Muktsar BKU President Sukhdev Singh, Block Chief Lakhan Pal Sharma and General Secretary Nirmal Singh, activists Nanak Singh, Kulwinder Singh Danwala, Rajinder Singh and Avtar Singh Cases have been registered against 300 unidentified people in Muktsar district under sections 307, 353, 186, 188, 332, 342, 506, 148 and 149 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) at Malot police station.
SP Gurmel Singh injured during the incident
Deputy Superintendent of Police Jaspal Singh said that he contacted Narang and other BJP leaders twice on Saturday, but no complaint was filed on their behalf. Police said, “A case was registered on the complaint of SP Gurmail Singh, who was injured during the incident. We have recorded the statement of MLA Narang today. Along with this, some people have also been arrested in this case. Raids are on to arrest the BKU leader. ”

According to the information, BJP MLA Arun Narang came to Malot on Saturday to organize a press conference against the state government. Although the farmers were already waiting for him near the BJP office. As soon as Narang arrived there in his car, the farmers surrounded him and threw ink on him. At the same time, the farmers also blackened his car. After the ink-throwing incident, police and BJP workers took the MLA inside a shop. However, when Narang came out of the shop, the farmers allegedly attacked him.
Farmers burned party flags in BJP office
The farmers also tore the clothes of the MLA. In the video that went viral on social media, the police are seen rescuing Narang from the farmers and the farmers are seen abusing and beating the MLA. Along with this, farmers also burnt party flags in the BJP office. The farmers beat the BJP MLA as well as two BJP leaders fiercely. The police then took the BJP leaders inside a shop. After a few minutes, the police took them out of the back door of the shop and sent them to a safe place. The melee continued for about an hour.
