Oil companies have released rates for petrol and diesel for Saturday. In the last two days, petrol and diesel have become cheaper by 39 paise per liter.

Oil companies have released the latest updates on the prices of petrol and diesel on Saturday.

Today, for the second consecutive day, the oil companies have decided not to change the prices of petrol and diesel. In the first two days, the price of retail oil was reduced by 39 paise per liter. Only last week, there was a drop in the price of crude oil in the international market. But now once again, an increase in the price of crude is being recorded. Therefore, the oil companies have once again decided not to change the price of petrol-diesel domestically.

Let us know that this year, on 24th and 25th March, there was no cut in the price of petrol and diesel on any day. Rather, there was no change in the price of petrol and diesel for 24 consecutive days in February-March. In February, the rate of petrol in many cities had also crossed the Rs 100 level.

Petrol prices in major cities

  • Delhi (Delhi Petrol Price Today): Rs 90.78 per liter
  • Mumbai (Mumbai Petrol Price Today): Rs 97.19 per liter
  • Kolkata (Kolkata Petrol Price Today): Rs 90.98 per liter
  • Chennai Petrol Price Today: Rs 92.77 per liter
  • Noida Petrol Price Today: Rs 89.08 per liter

Diesel prices in major cities

  • Delhi (Delhi Diesel Price Today): Rs 81.10 per liter
  • Mumbai (Mumbai Diesel Price Today): Rs 88.20 per liter
  • Kolkata Diesel Price Today: Rs 83.98 per liter
  • Chennai (Chennai Diesel Price Today): Rs 86.10 per liter
  • Noida (Diesel Price Today): Rs 81.56 per liter

A huge container ship ‘Evergreen’ is trapped in a huge traffic jam in the Suez Canal connecting the land of the Sea and the Red Sea via Egypt. Due to this, crude oil is once again seeing a boom. It is being said that due to this, petrol and diesel can be expensive.

How expensive petrol-diesel has become in the last one year?

On Wednesday, petrol-diesel prices were reduced for the first time this year. In the last one year, the price of petrol has increased by Rs 21.58 per liter. Whereas, during this period, the price of diesel has increased by Rs 19.18 per liter. In February, petrol prices in Madhya Pradesh, Rajasthan and Maharashtra had crossed the record Rs 100 per liter. However, after VAT was reduced by the states, they came down by three points.
