BAKU, Azerbaijan, February 27. Passenger
transportation in Kyrgyzstan amounted to 528 million individuals from
January by means of December 2022, Trend experiences through the statistical knowledge of the Eurasian
Economic Commission (EEC).
In the reporting interval, Kyrgyzstan elevated passenger
transportation by 4 % from 504 million of individuals in 2021.
According to the statistics, passenger transportation by bus and
taxi in Kyrgyzstan reached 497.1 million individuals in 2022, rising
by 4 % from 2021.
Additionally, some 300,000 individuals in Kyrgyzstan traveled through
railway transport and 1.2 million by air transport.
Passenger air transportation in Kyrgyzstan elevated by 45
% from January by means of December 2022, in comparison with the identical
interval in 2021 (800,000 individuals).
The progress in passenger transportation in Kyrgyzstan in 2022 was
as a result of lifting of some Covid-19 restrictions, imposed in
2020.
Overall, passenger transportation within the Eurasian Economic Union
(EEU) nations amounted to 19.5 billion individuals in 2022, which is
2.8 % greater than in 2021.
In the reporting interval passenger transportation in Russia
amounted to 9.5 billion individuals, in Kazakhstan – to 7.7 billion
individuals, in Belarus – to 1.5 billion individuals, and to 158 million
individuals in Armenia.
