On opening this salary account, you get the facility of overdraft and sweep with personal accident insurance. Let’s know about it.

On opening of PNB My Salary Account, customers get a lot of benefits. Account holders will also get Accident Insurance up to Rs 20 lakh with an overdraft facility of up to Rs 3 lakh. This account can be opened by regular workers working in Central / State Government / PSU / Government-Semi Government Corporation / MNCs / Famous Institutions, Corporate or Educational Institutions. However, employees working on contract basis will not be eligible to open this account.

Account can be started from zero balance also

PNB has divided My Salary Account into four categories. Silver, Gold, Premium and Platinum. It is divided on the basis of salary pay scale. Salaries from Rs 10,000 to Rs 25,000 per month have been kept in the silver category. People with Rs 25001 to 75000 rupees have been given gold, Rs 75,001 to Rs 1,50,000 have been given premium and those who have paid more than Rs 1,50,001 have been placed in the platinum category.

It can also be started from account zero balance. There is also no need to keep minimum quarterly average balance in this account.

3 lakhs overdraft facility

Overdraft facility is available to the account holders opening PNB My Salary Account. Silver category account holders will get Rs 50,000, gold category account holders Rs 1,50,000, premium category account holders Rs 2,25,000 and platinum ones will get an overdraft facility of up to Rs 3 lakh.

Under this scheme, sweep facility is also provided in open account. In the silver category, RuPay Classic / Platinum Card will be available and there will be an annual maintenance charge. At the same time, those in Gold, Premium and Platinum categories will get RuPay Platinum Card, on which there will be no charge.
