HDFC Bank (HDFC Bank) has provided the facility of Mobile Automated Teller Machine (ATM) in 19 cities to help people during lockdown.

HDFC Bank (HDFC Bank), the largest lender in the private sector, has provided mobile automated teller machines (ATMs) facility in 19 cities in view of the increasing cases of COVID-19 and the implementation of restrictions like lockdown in different parts of the country.
The bank said in a statement that due to the facility of mobile ATMs, common people will not have to go out of their area to withdraw cash. The statement said that customers will be able to do 15 types of transactions using mobile ATMs.
These mobile ATMs will be stored on vans. These will be sent to different COVID affected areas. With this, customers can easily withdraw money without any inconvenience. Adequate sanitization will be done to prevent infection from spreading during cash withdrawal. Also, people including bank personnel have to follow the guidelines. It may be known that HDFC had given this kind of facility last year as well.
Facility will be available in these cities
HDFC Bank is offering this facility in 19 cities of the country. These include big cities like Mumbai, Chennai, Hyderabad, Pune, Lucknow, Delhi, Ludhiana etc. In this connection, a video has been released by the bank on social media. The bank implements this mobile ATM by talking with the local administration. At the same time, in some cases the bank itself finds the location.
Responsibility to maintain cash
Since more people from one area will withdraw cash from the mobile ATM, there is no shortage of money in it, so the bank will take care of it. The bank’s effort is to keep equal money in ATMs. Nobody should have any problem. There can be 100-150 transactions a day from mobile ATMs.
Can’t withdraw money without mask
This facility of the bank will be available at those locations which will be severely affected by COVID or declared to be content zones. Where people are banned from going out. Mobile ATMs will be installed for the convenience of such people. Cash withdrawal can be done only after these people come wearing masks and get themselves sanitized.
