In the 74th Mann Ki Baat program, the Prime Minister had emphasized the need to store rain water. He said that the Ministry of Water Power will soon start a campaign named ‘Catch the Rain’.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the nation today through his monthly radio program Mann Ki Baat at 11 am on March 28. In the third edition of the Mann Ki Baat program of 2021, the Prime Minister will share his thoughts with people at home and abroad on All India Radio. This will be the 75th episode of the monthly radio program.

It will be streamed live on AIR, DD News, PMO and YouTube channels of Ministry of Information and Broadcasting. AIR will broadcast programs in regional languages ​​immediately after the , telecast. The regional language versions will be repeated at 8 pm. This time the Mann Ki Baat program is very special because amid the growing conditions of Corona at this time, Holi and elections going on in four states and one union territory can also be discussed.

Talked about storing rain water

Earlier in the 74th Mann Ki Baat program, the Prime Minister had emphasized the need to store rain water. He said that the Ministry of Water Power will soon start a campaign named ‘Catch the Rain’. According to Modi, the government body will focus on repairing rainwater harvesting systems. Under this campaign, the wells, ponds of the village will be cleaned and all kinds of obstructions will be removed from the water bodies. He also urged Indians to focus on their surrounding areas and take measures to save water.

He appreciated the contribution of science in making India a self-reliant nation and called upon the people of the country to carry forward the ‘Lab to Land’ mantra. Apart from this, in the 74th edition, PM Modi wished the students for their exams. PM Modi told the children, ‘Become a warrior, don’t worry.’ He also invited parents and teachers for his suggestion for “Pariksha Pe Charcha”.
