The businessman is the tax collector for the government, so we have the right to demand such financial facilities from the government.
Auto-taxi drivers will get 5 thousand rupees
Explain that the Delhi government had announced the imposition of lockdown earlier this month, giving free ration to 72 lakh ration card holders in the national capital and financial assistance of Rs 5,000 to auto rickshaw and taxi drivers for the next two months.
Also pleaded with the central government
CAT has also sought financial assistance from Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman in many states of the country to compensate for the loss to businessmen due to lockdown, partial lockdown and other restrictions. CAT, in a letter to the Finance Minister, urged the financial relief measures for businessmen and to pursue various deadlines under GST and Income Tax.
6.25 lakh crore loss in April only
CAT has reported a loss of trade of 6.25 lakh crores to domestic trade in the country in April due to Corona epidemic. The central and state governments also estimate a loss of revenue of about 75 thousand crore rupees in total.

On the other hand, CAT has in a letter to Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged to implement a national lock-down to break the chain of coronovirus in the country.
