For the financial help of the farmers, the government gives them a Kisan Credit Card (KCC). In this, they get a loan at a cheaper rate. Additional rebate is given by the government on timely repayment of the loan. Campaigns are being done for this in UP.

Kisan credit card

To help the farmers financially and to reduce the burden on them, the Kisan Credit Card Scheme was launched by the government. In this, loans of up to 3 lakh rupees are provided to the farmers at a very cheap rate. Also other facilities are provided. A campaign is also being run by the UP government to enable more farmers to benefit from KCC. In this case, if you have not yet applied for the card, then you can apply for it till 15 April.

Camps are being set up in various villages of Uttar Pradesh by the Yogi government to get a Kisan Credit Card (KCC). So that more and more farmers can take advantage of this government scheme. Kisan Credit Card can also be applied online. For this, one has to visit the site https://pmkisan.gov.in/ and download the Kisan Credit Card form here.

Which documents will be required

To apply for Kisan Credit Card, you will have to fill the form of the scheme. In this, you will have to give the documents of your land, details of the crop. Along with this, Voter ID card / PAN card / Passport / Aadhaar card / Driving license etc. for ID proof and Voter ID card / Passport / Aadhar card / Driving license etc. will be required for address proof. A few days after handing over all these documents, you will get the card from the bank.

Benefits of kcc

Loans are provided to the farmers at a cheaper rate through the Kisan Credit Card. On this, you can take a loan of up to 3 lakh rupees. Although the interest rate on this is 9 percent, but the government gives a subsidy of 2 percent in it. In this way it falls to 7 per cent. If the farmer returns the loan on time, he gets an additional 3% rebate. In such a case, the farmer can take a loan at a mere 4 percent interest rate. However, the card will not be issued to those who have previously taken it from another bank or branch.
