The Competition Commission of India has approved the acquisition of three factories of Odisha Power by Tata Power. Tata Power will acquire 51-51 per cent stake in all three factories.

GAIL’s result weaker than expected

GAIL Share Price: GAIL results for the March quarter are out. The company’s profit in this quarter was 1908 crores. The company had a profit of 3018 crores in the same quarter of 2020. Welspun Corp has recently received an order of 1725 crores.

Vedanta Group gets approval from NCLT

Vedanta Group has received approval from NCLT to acquire Videocon. After this news came to the fore, Videocon’s stock was hit upper circuit on Wednesday. For the last three trading sessions, this stock is seeing an average rise of about 4.50 percent. In such a situation, even today this stock can be kept under watch.
