In this, loan and subsidy will also be provided by the government at the central and state level. To start a dairy farming business, you have to select cows or buffaloes. Milk production will be better by taking animals of better breed. Later, as business increases, you can increase the number of animals.

To start a dairy farming business at a small level, you can first buy only 2 cows or buffalo. In two animals, you can get subsidy ranging from 35 to 50 thousand rupees. Under the Dairy Entrepreneur Development Scheme, the applicant gets a subsidy of 25 per cent on the cost of the project. If you come from reserved category, you can get the benefit of subsidy up to 33 per cent. This subsidy is given by NABARD.
