A policeman in Udhampur district of Jammu and Kashmir said that after being heard, one of his co-workers was allegedly shot and killed. The officials gave this information on Sunday. He told that this incident happened at around 11 pm on Saturday night. At that time, both were stationed at a post at Jakhani Chowk near Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.
He said that there was a heated debate on a matter between selection grade constable Kaka Ram and special police officer Manohar Lal. Lal lost his temper and shot at Ram with his service rifle. Officials said that Ram died in a hospital in the early hours of Sunday. Lal was later arrested. A case has been registered regarding the incident and further investigation is going on.
Two terrorists killed in Shopian encounter, one young martyr
Here, two militants were killed and one soldier was killed in an encounter with security forces in Shopian district of Jammu and Kashmir. Another soldier was injured in the encounter. IGP Kashmir Vijay Kumar gave this information. He told that the Shopian police received information that two terrorists were hiding. Police, army and CRPF surrounded them. During the encounter, 2 soldiers were seriously injured and later one soldier was martyred. At the same time, the terrorists were also killed. 1 AK 47, 1 M4 and 1 pistol have been recovered from them.
Hizbul and Lashkar were terrorists
Vijay Kumar told that the names of the slain terrorists are Inatullah Sheikh and Adil Malik. Inatullah Sheikh is a terrorist of Hizbul Mujahideen and Adil Lashkar-e-Taiba. Another officer said that when the security forces were conducting a search operation in the area, the terrorists started firing on them. The security forces retaliated in which two terrorists were killed.
