BAKU, Azerbaijan, March 28. Jacket of
the Azeri Central East (ACE) platform has been put in within the
Caspian Sea, Azerbaijan Caspian Shipping Company (ASCO) CJSC instructed
Trend.
The jacket, constructed at Baku Deep Water Jackets Factory
named after Heydar Aliyev, was loaded on STB-1 barge and dispatched
to the ocean on March 16, 2023.
“The weight of the jacket is 16,000 tons, and the
top is 153 meters. This facility contains three vertical pipes –
for water injection, oil export, and gasoline export,” ASCO famous.
The ACE venture (value $6 billion), features a new
offshore platform and different amenities designed to supply as much as
100,000 barrels of oil per day. The ACE platform will keep oil
manufacturing on the Azeri-Chirag-Gunashli (ACG) block of fields above
400,000 barrels per day till the top of the 2020s.
Within the venture, a brand new 48-slot manufacturing,
drilling, and quarters platform will probably be constructed mid-way between the
present Central Azeri and East Azeri platforms in a water depth of
roughly 140 meters.
The venture can even embody new infield pipelines to
switch oil and gasoline from the ACE platform to the present ACG
Phase 2 oil and gasoline export pipelines for transportation to the
onshore Sangachal terminal. The jacket of the Azeri Central East
(ACE) platform will probably be put in in a water depth of 137
meters.
