Most IT companies are giving double salary increments and promotions to their staff. It is being told that due to Coronavirus crisis last year, companies postponed salary increment. This time due to the profits of the companies, they are distributing the increased salary again to the employees within a few months. Experts believe that due to the strong competition for good candidates in the market, companies are again rewarding their employees for keeping them.
TCS increased salary twice in 6 months
The country’s largest IT company Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has given salary increments twice within 6 months. All employees have started getting new salaries from April. It is said that many senior staff have received salary increment from 6 to 8 percent.
Increased salary will be available from July
Veteran IT company Infosys has also started Compensation Review Cycle. Under this, the staff has been given salary increment in January. Apart from this, on the basis of the performance of the previous year, the company will now make another review and according to that, will give the salary increased again in July. In such a situation, the employees will have a total increment of 10 to 14 percent.
Tech Mahindra also announced increment
India’s famous IT company Tech Mahindra recently announced a salary hike. It has come into force from 1 April. The letters related to salary increment are being sent to the employees. Not only this, additional bonus is also being given to the talented employees.
