ICICI Lombard, the country’s premier general insurance company of private sector, has started a helpline named ‘Balancing’ for the mental and emotional health of the employees. Through this helpline, 24 hours seven days a day, you will get guidance from trained counselors so that people will remain confident. Keeping in mind the deep impact that the epidemic has had on most people on a psychological and emotional level, ICICI Lombard has decided that some help to overcome such emotional stress.
The company has also set up a Quarantine Assessment Committee (QAC) of the company’s own doctors for employees affected by COVID, through which people are provided guidance, advice and counseling at all times till they recover.
No meetings after 9 to 7
The company is also urging its employees to keep a balance in their working routine while remaining productive. The company is adopting a flexible way of working – no meetings before 9 am, no meetings after 7 pm, silent hours between 2–3 pm and no meetings on weekends or holidays – so that people There should be no effect on health, happiness. In addition to the existing casual-cum-medical leave for COVID 19, employees are being given additional holidays as per their requirement, so that the work pressure is reduced. ICICI Lombard has recently taken the step of permanently adopting a hybrid mode of work, in which 50 percent of its employees will work outside the office.
Two month endwas salary
In order to provide financial help to those affected by COVID, ICICI Lombard has announced last week that it will give two months’ salary as advance to COVID positive employees. Later, the employee can pay it in 6 or 12 months installment. This insurance company has also announced the following additional measures to relieve employees from their financial stress:
10,000 medical expenses
Every member of the family will be reimbursed for medical infrastructure support for expenses up to a maximum of Rs 10,000, if there is such a need for a home quarantine for an infected employee. Apart from the employee, this facility will be for the husband or wife, two children up to 25 years old and the dependent parents.
Insurance of 7 lakh rupees
The company will bear the cost of vaccination of all its employees and their dependents. The company is tying up with several healthcare centers in the country so that further immunization programs can be carried out. Job upon death
ICICI Lombard has decided that if an employee dies due to misfortune, then the wife or husband of the deceased should be given a job, according to the dependent’s educational qualification and the role available in the company accordingly. This will be given even if an employee has prescribed the required period for gratuity.
