Trade deficit has increased by 120.34 percent as compared to April 2020. India trade deficit stood at $ 6.92 billion in April 2020.
India’s exports to $ 34.45 billion in March
The lockdown in India was announced on 25 March 2020 due to Corona, due to which the exports fell by more than 60 percent. In March this year (March 2021), India’s exports have registered a growth of 60.29 percent. India’s total exports stood at $ 34.45 billion in March 2021.
Oil imports $ 10.80 billion in April
India’s oil imports stood at $ 10.80 billion in the month of April, compared to $ 4.65 billion last year. Gems & Jewelery, Jute, Carpet, Handicroft, Leather, Electronic Goods, Oil Meals, Engineering, Petroleum Products, Chemicals, Marine Products exports are showing positive growth in the month of April.
