According to the report, in order to settle these claims, different health insurance companies have paid around Rs 22,955 crore, which is quite high in itself. According to the data, 14.82 lakh customers have applied for the amount of health insurance during the Corona period. In which more than half has been paid by the general insurance companies. Right now, the amount of Rs 11,161 crore of health insurance is yet to be paid by 2.5 lakh customers.

Like other diseases, the Insurance Regulatory and Development Authority of India IRDAI issued a new guideline regarding cashless claims of corona epidemic.
