Income Tax Department is launching a new portal e-filing 2.0 on June 7, 2021, on which taxpayers will be able to submit details online. This portal will be linked to the facility of instant processing of the submitted details and with this the process of tax refund will also be completed quickly.
According to a release by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT), this portal www.incometax.gov.in will be launched on June 7. This will make it easier for taxpayers to file returns. According to the statement, CBDT is also going to start a new tax payment system from June 18. After the launch of the portal, a mobile app will also be released so that the taxpayers can get acquainted with its various features.

>> The new portal will be equipped with new features in six categories and will also help taxpayers to issue refunds faster.
>> Many types of assistance measures have also been taken for the convenience of tax payers in the new portal.
>> Uploaded and pending work will be visible on the new portal simultaneously. If any work of any taxpayer has stopped, then its information will also be available at one place.
>> This will be a free ITR preparation software that can be obtained online and offline simultaneously.
>> If you have any question, you can also raise it here. If there is any problem related to ITR then you will be able to query it.
>> Any taxpayer without any tax information will be able to do e-filing comfortably by entering minimum data.
>> If there is any problem related to filing, if you want information about it, then you can get help on the phone. Tax related ‘FAQs’, tutorials, videos and chatbots can be availed.
