LIC

If you are a customer of Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC), then it is very important for you to know the new rules. In fact, the central government has now announced a public holiday for LIC on every Saturday. In such a situation, if you want to go to LIC office, then you will have to do this work between Monday to Friday only. The government has made this change under section 25 of the Negotiable Instruments Act 1881.

In LIC office, there was a first Sunday only holiday. But due to the new rule, now two days of the week will be holiday. The employee is very happy with this decision of the government. They believe that this will help in better work. Also, two days’ leave in the Corona period will give relief to the employees.

There is also ongoing talk on outstanding wage revision

The LIC employee is happy with the two-day holiday, but in the meantime they are worried about the arrears of their wage revision. He has not received the arrears since August 1, 2017. In this regard, the union leader says that this is the first time that there has been such a delay in the wage revision. A meeting will be held soon with union leaders on this issue. After which the final proposal of the management will be sent to the government.

Increase in salary as well

LIC employees will also get the benefit of increased salary in addition to two holidays. It is believed that the government has approved a 15-16 per cent increase in salaries of LIC employees, which will be implemented soon. This proposal of increase in salary was given by LIC Management in the last meeting.
