Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman
The Indian economy has also been affected due to the second wave of Corona in the country. In such a situation, a continuous incentive package is being sought to bring back the stalled work in different areas. But Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman made it clear in an interview to TOI that the government is already running many such schemes, whose full implementation can solve all the problems.
The Finance Minister said in the interview that the first quarter is not over yet. In such a situation, the demand for stimulus package i.e. incentive package is not justified from now on. The budget itself has been designed keeping in mind all the requirements. Therefore, many schemes launched under self-reliant India are being used, so that the bad effect of the epidemic on the Indian economy can be removed.
expansion plans for
Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman talked about expansion of schemes like Credit Line Guarantee Scheme and SWAMIH Fund (Special Window for Completion of Construction of Affordable and Mid-Income Housing Projects) to improve the economy. According to the Finance Minister, these schemes have been opened to other sectors as well and there is full scope to increase it further. At this time, many announcements of self-reliant India are active, such as setting up wellness centers in rural areas, creating agricultural infrastructure, etc.
