Good news for LPG cylinder users! Now distributors will be able to choose their own free will, the government is going to make these changes

For the convenience of the customers, the government is soon going to launch a digital LPG portability program. Under this, customers can get gas refill from distributor from any company of their own free will.

Now those who take LPG cylinder will not have to worry about changing the gas connection. They can choose the delivery distributor as per their wish and can take gas from any company as per their convenience. In fact, the Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas is going to start a new service soon. Whose name is Digital LPG Portability. In this, customers can choose the ELPG cylinder distributor.

This scheme of the government will start in the first phase in Chandigarh, Coimbatore, Gurgaon, Pune and Ranchi etc. Gradually they will be started in other states also. Under Digital LPG Portability, the customer will be able to choose the distributor according to his choice by logging in through the mobile app/portal. If you want, you can book cylinder refill or take advantage of other facilities. You can see the rating of the distributor so that the customers do not face any problem in the selection of the distributor.

Competition will increase among distributors

Customers can choose any distributor from the list applicable for their area to get LPG refill delivery. This service will not only bring ease to the customers, but will also develop a sense of competition among the distributors to provide better services and get good ratings from them.

Can make payment online

LPG customers can also book their LPG refills through UMANG App or Bharat Bill Pay system. Customers will also get an online option for payment. You will be able to make payment through digital mode like Amazon or Paytm etc.

What is the price of cylinder now

Earlier this month, the 19 kg commercial LPG cylinder became cheaper in the country. Its price was cut by Rs 122. On the other hand, there has been no change in the price of domestic LPG cylinders. At present, the price of domestic LPG cylinder in Delhi and Mumbai is Rs 809 per cylinder.
