New Gold Price (Gold Price): In early trade on the Multi Commodity Exchange (MCX), June futures gold fell by Rs. 95 to Rs. 46,267 per 10 grams. Let us know that in the last session, the price of gold had reached a month high of Rs 46,400 per 10 grams.
Silver Price: At the same time, the price of May futures silver on MCX is down by Rs 263 and is trading at Rs 66,371 per kg.
The biggest fall in rupee in 20 months
The rupee fell 105 paise to close at 74.47 against the US currency on Wednesday in the foreign currency exchange market amid growing concerns that the outbreak of the COVID 19 epidemic in the country. This is the lowest level after about 20 months i.e. 13 November last year. The rupee depreciated by a day to its lowest level since August 5, 2019.
