For the first time in 2021, 300 corona patients died in a single day, now more than 4.85 lakh active cases in the country

According to a report, in the last 10 days, cases of corona have almost doubled. On March 17, 27,004 cases of cornea were registered, while ten days later on March 27, 53,198 people were found infected in 24 hours.

According to the report, 312 deaths were recorded across the country on Saturday, which is the highest number of deaths after 24 December 2020 i.e. 163 days later. After this figure, cases of fresh deaths have risen to more than 62,500. At the same time, active cases in India have crossed about 4.85 lakhs.

According to TOI’s database, India had registered 62,608 new cases on Friday, which is slightly higher than the previous day. On Thursday, 62,336 cases of corona were reported. This was the highest daily increase since 15 October. At the same time, in these three states of Chhattisgarh, Maharashtra and Punjab, in the month of March, Corona gained momentum and more than 3,000 cases started coming up in a day.

At the same time, if a report is believed, there has been almost double increase in the cases of corona in the last 10 days. Which shows an increase in the speed of the corona at double the speed.

Apart from this, the highest cases of corona are still being found in Maharashtra. Of the 312 deaths in the last 24 hours, more than half have died in the state of Maharashtra. While 46 deaths occurred in Punjab, 14 in Kerala, 13 in Chhattisgarh, and Delhi and Madhya Pradesh 10. Maharashtra recorded more than 35,000 new cases for the third consecutive day, though slightly lower than the 36,902 reported on Friday.

More than six crore corona vaccine

On the other hand, vaccination campaign is also on pace across the country. The campaign to vaccinate Corona began on 16 January. Till 27 March, 6 crore 2 lakh 69 thousand 782 corona doses have been given across the country. There were 21 lakh 54 thousand 170 vaccines last day. The campaign to give the second dose of vaccine started on 13 February. The death rate of corona in the country is 1.35 percent while the recovery rate is around 95 percent. The active case is 3.80 percent. India ranks 6th in the world in Corona Active Case.
