At least two folks have been killed after torrential rains
triggered flash floods in Buea, the chief city of Cameroon’s
Southwest area, native authorities stated Sunday, Trend stories citing
Xinhua.
According to David Mafani Namange, mayor of Buea council, the
flood was triggered by a number of hours of heavy rain Saturday which
carried away vehicles and particles and inundated the basement and floor
flooring of some buildings, turning roads into rivers.
“Two corpses have been recovered on Saturday. The materials harm is
fairly large. The ladies out there have misplaced all their items,”
Namange informed Xinhua over the cellphone early Sunday whereas evaluating
the harm brought on by “the unprecedented” flood.
At least 10 folks have been receiving remedy in hospitals within the
city after sustaining accidents from the catastrophe.
