On April 2, e-commerce company Amazon admitted that its employees had to pee in plastic bottles.

The company issued a statement and apologized.

It is not necessary that the work culture of those who are very big companies of the world will also be very good. This is because the work culture of the world’s richest Jeff Bezos’s company, Amazon, is still in controversy. The latest case is that the company has accepted that the workload is so high that the employees, especially the delivery driver, have to force themselves to urinate in the bottle.

On April 2, e-commerce company Amazon admitted that its employees had to pee in plastic bottles. Initially it was denied by the company when the allegations were made. Last week, Democrat MP Mark Poken from Wisconsin tweeted about this. He said in his tweet that if you are paying $ 15 per hour to your employees then it does not mean that the work culture of the company is very progressive.

Paying workers $15/hr doesn’t make you a “progressive workplace” when you union-bust & make workers urinate in water bottles. https://t.co/CnFTtTKA9q

Earlier, tweeting from the Twitter handle of Amazon News, it was said that Sasand Pokan is really coincidental with urinating in a bottle? If there was any truth in this matter, then millions of people would not be working with us. We have millions of employees all over the world who feel proud to work with the company. The company takes good care of his health and salary.

Amazon’s apology to @repmarkpocan for the piss bottle tweet takes care to clarify that its drivers are the ones suffering from lack of bathroom access; apparently warehouse workers are fine*

Now in the statement issued by the company, it has been clearly said that there is a good arrangement of rest room at Amazon’s Fulfillment Center. Despite this, if the experience of any employee is not good, then the company appeals that they should talk to their manager in this regard. One compulsion with drivers is that they are sometimes difficult to find restrooms in remote areas. Most public toilets were closed, especially during the Corona era.

Sigh.

This is not about me, this is about your workers—who you don’t treat with enough respect or dignity.

Start by acknowledging the inadequate working conditions you’ve created for ALL your workers, then fix that for everyone & finally, let them unionize without interference. https://t.co/tdIns0AR66

The company also said that in e-commerce companies, people who work in the delivery chain have this kind of problem everywhere. This problem is not of Amazon, but this problem is of this industry and profession.
