On Sunday, after the death of a 43-year-old citizen of Nigeria (DD) at DDU Hospital in Delhi, his compatriots staged a violent demonstration in Tilak Nagar area of ​​West Delhi. The protesters alleged that he died due to beating of police. However, the police have denied the charge. According to the police, the citizens of the African country agitated over the death of Nigerian citizen Leonhand Lieni. According to the police, initially their number was 20-30 but after seeing it, a crowd of about 100 people gathered. According to the police, these people broke the glass in Deendayal Upadhyay Hospital. He said that the angry mob also attacked the local people and policemen.

Police said that the protesters also attacked the officials of the Nigeria High Commission who came to meet them. At the same time, the protesting Nigerian citizens alleged that Lieni died due to lathi-charge by the police. Police said that a case has been registered against the violent mob and investigation into the case is on.

Gang was formed after watching ‘Special 26’

On the other hand, Delhi’s South West District Police has arrested a gang of robbers who carried out robberies on the lines of Special 26 film. The police have arrested 6 robbers of this gang, who formed this gang after watching the film Special 26. The police have also recovered a lot of goods looted from their possession. Police have found 3 laptops, an iPad, a DLSR camera, 3 luxury watches, robbed clothes and a vehicle from these robbers. The arrested miscreants include Mudassir Nazir, Sourav Bhatia, Raghuvinder, Manjeet Kumar, Sumit Kumar and Sanjay Kapoor.

Vasant Kunj police station received the news that on the intervening night of March 15-16, three to four miscreants reached a call center and broke its door. He told the guard present on the occasion that he is from Delhi Police. After this, he beat the guard and looted the goods and escaped.
