In Delhi, 1558 new cases of corona have been reported during 24 hours. This is the third consecutive day when more than 1500 cases were reported.

In view of the increasing cases of corona in Delhi, the Delhi government has taken a big decision on Saturday, reducing the maximum number of people attending the wedding ceremony to 100 (in a closed space). Till now, a maximum of 200 people (in a closed space) could gather in a wedding ceremony, whereas in an open space, a maximum of 200 people can gather in a wedding ceremony, there was no limit on it earlier. These orders will remain in force till 30 April in Delhi.

In the national capital Delhi, 1558 new cases of coronavirus have been reported during the last 24 hours. This is the third consecutive day when more than 1500 cases were reported in the capital. At the same time, 10 patients died in the last 24 hours, which is the highest figure after 23 January. The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Delhi has increased to 6,55,834 and so far 10,997 infected patients have died.

According to the latest data of the Health Department, 974 patients have been cured in the last 24 hours, after which the total number of cured patients has reached 6,38,212. At present, 6625 cases are active in Delhi, while recovery rate is 97.31 percent, active patient 1.01 percent, death rate 1.68 percent and positivity rate is 1.70 percent.

Health Minister Satyendra Jain on Saturday ruled out the possibility of a lockdown again in Delhi and said that this is not the solution to stop the spread of coronavirus. In India, 62,258 new cases of coronavirus infection were reported in a day and with this, the number of infected people increased to 1,19,08,910 on Saturday. This is the highest number so far this year.
