SBI, ICICI and PNB have once again cautioned their customers amid increasing cases of online fraud. PNB has warned its customers against phishing emails. Bank tweets and messaging customers have appealed to beware of such mails and calls. In the case of online fraud, an attempt is being made to get the account holders through QR code. Apart from fishing emails, credit and debit card numbers are sought in the name of fake customer care, KYC updation. Apart from this, OTP and password are demanded. Banks say that customers need to be aware that in any case, information such as Internet banking login details, OTP, passwords should not be shared.
