Jitendra Singh said that seven years ago, the Congress had propagated that if the BJP came to power in any state of the Northeast, it would start interfering with the food habits and lifestyle of the people.

Union Minister Jitendra Singh on Saturday once again targeted the Congress (Congress). He said that a lot of misconceptions and suspicions were spread by the Congress to dissolve ‘poison’ against the BJP (BJP) in the people of Assam (Assam) and the entire northeastern region, but the BJP has done well . Singh said that seven years ago, the Congress had propagated that if the BJP came to power in any state of the Northeast, it would start interfering with the food habits and lifestyle of the people, but “We Connected with and explained to them that the BJP is an organization that treats all sections of society equally without partiality or discrimination. ”

The Minister of State in the Prime Minister’s Office said, “Recently, the Congress Party spread a perception about the imaginary hardships and sufferings people may face when the amended Citizenship Act or CAA comes into force. But in the last two years, people realized that it was all propaganda against the BJP government and nothing of that sort happened. ”

‘Work done day and night to clear up misconceptions’

Singh said, “We have worked day and night in the last seven years to win people’s trust and clear all doubts and misconceptions about us.” The Congress campaigned against the BJP, but we fought it and people believed in our commitment to their welfare. ”

‘Assam successfully gets on track for development’

Singh said that in the last seven years, we have successfully put Assam on the track of development. “We ask for five more years so that we can complete the projects and implement the projects which are designed for the welfare of the people, especially for the youth and women,” he said. In 126 seats, voting was held on 47 seats in the first phase on Saturday, while 39 and 40 seats will be voted on April 1 and April 6.
