Bank gives relief to SBI account holders
The country’s largest public sector bank, SBI, has given a big relief to the customers in the Corona era. According to the Times of India report, now SBI will not close the accounts of those customers whose KYC has not been updated. Due to Corona, the bank has extended the benefit of this facility till May 31, which means that now the account holders of KYC who are not updated till May 31, their accounts will not be freeze.
Apart from this, all our customers of the bank have tweeted a toll free number in this hour of trouble. According to SBI, there is no need to come to the branch during difficult times. Most of your work will be done through this toll free number. The toll free number of the bank is – 1800 112 211 and 1800 425 3800.

Facility provided till 31 May
SBI has told its customers that the accounts which were earlier freezed due to non-update of KYC, will not be available till May 31. Meanwhile, customers can update KYC by sending their documents to the bank via post or email. The bank has made it clear to all its employees not to freeze such accounts till 31 May.
