The new rule of working day has come into force from today in the country’s largest insurance company Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). Starting today (May 10), LIC employees will work only 5 days a week. Now every Saturday there will be a holiday in LIC office. Let us know that a notification was issued by the Central Government on 15 April, under which a public holiday has been declared on Saturday.

According to the new change, from today onwards LIC offices will be open 5 days a week, from 10 am to 5.30 pm from Monday to Friday. LIC also provides online facility to its customers. You can do all the work online on his official website https://licindia.in/. Apart from this, in view of the inconvenience of its customers in the midst of the Corona crisis, LIC has announced some relaxation in the terms related to the settlement of the claim.

Relaxation in death claim rules

LIC has relaxed the rules for early disposal of death claims. In the corona epidemic, if a client dies in a hospital, some alternative proof can also be given in place of the Municipal Death Certificate.

This proof includes any death certificate, discharge summaries, death summaries with the time and date of death as Government, ESI, Armed Forces, Corporate Hospital, LIC Class-1 officer, or a Development Officer with 10 years of experience, funeral certificate, Burial certificate or certificate issued by any authority can be given.
