Government company National Thermal Power Corporation Limited (NTPC) has announced to set up 13 Oxine plants, making its full contribution in the fight against COVID-19 (COVID-19). NTPC has placed an order for 11 Oxine Generation Plants in Delhi-NCR. The company is setting up two bottling plants in NCR to take care of serious patients of COVID-19.
NTPC has added more than 500 oxygen support beds and 1,100 isolation beds to the COVID care centers. NTPC said in a statement that it has installed 200 oxygen-supported and 140 isolation beds in COVID care centers in Badarpur, Noida and Dadri.
Add 500 oxygen beds
He said, COVID care center has been set up in Sundargarh, Odisha with a capacity of 500 beds and 20 ventilators. NTPC has added more than 500 Oxygen Support Beds and more than 1,100 Isolation Beds in various states to provide assistance in important Covid Care Centers.
The company said that along with Dadri, Korba, Kaniha, Ramagundam, Vindhyachal and Badarpur, additional facilities will now be set up in COVID care centers in North Karanpura, Bongaigaon and Solapur.
More than 70 thousand employees were vaccinated
Meanwhile, NTPC has vaccinated more than 70,000 employees and associates in its operations so far. A large scale vaccination campaign is going on at the plant locations. He has also started vaccinating the corona vaccine to employees between 18 and 44 years of age.

At the same time, there has been a decrease of more than 1.5 lakhs in active cases.
