BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 31. A complete
of 5,570 purposes had been submitted to Azerbaijan’s State Service
for Antimonopoly Control and Supervision of the Consumer Market in
the fields of shopper rights safety and shopper market
management in 2022, mentioned the Head of the service Mammad Abbasbeyli,

He made the comment through the press convention
devoted to the outcomes of 2022.
According to him, a complete of two,260 purposes out of
the general quantity had been authorized.
He famous that the expansion of the variety of purposes
in comparison with 2021 was equal to 7.6 %, whereas the variety of
authorized purposes elevated by 30.7 %.
“As a consequence, the financial entities that dedicated
violations returned 318,000 manat ($187,058) to customers, and the
harm within the quantity of as much as 20,000 manat ($11,764) was
compensated. Based on the proof offered through the
investigation of the obtained residents’ appeals, protocols on
administrative offenses had been drawn up towards 12 authorized entities and
3 people,” he mentioned.
Abbasbeyli added that 54 % of the reviewed
purposes (2,977 purposes) out of the whole quantity had been
associated to items, 39 % (2,187 purposes) to companies, and
seven % (406 purposes) to different areas.
