BAKU, Azerbaijan, January 30. The Azerbaijani
neighborhood held a peaceable rally within the US’ Houston to protest
in opposition to the illicit exploitation of Azerbaijan’s mineral sources
within the space of Russian peacekeepers’ non permanent deployment, as effectively
as in opposition to the environmental terrorism coverage of Armenia, the
Azerbaijani State Committee on Work with Diaspora informed Trend.

Azerbaijani eco-activists residing in Texas partook within the protest
organized by the Azerbaijan Center in entrance of the Houston City
Hall. The motion was held to specific solidarity with Azerbaijani
environmental activists and civil society representatives
peacefully protesting on the Lachin-Khankendi street.

Participants confirmed posters with the calls for “Stop the Armenian
terrorism!”, “End the plunder of Azerbaijan’s pure sources!”,
“Stop Armenian ecocide!”, “Stop environmental terrorism within the
territory of Azerbaijan!”.

Attention was drawn to the truth that Azerbaijanis residing overseas
wouldn’t flip a blind eye to the plunder of Azerbaijan’s pure
sources by Armenia and Armenian separatists, and the
environmental terrorism that continues within the Karabakh financial
area threatens to develop into a worldwide drawback.

The activists informed native residents in regards to the 30-year-long
occupation of Azerbaijani lands by Armenia, the unlawful
exploitation of the nation’s mineral sources, the water
air pollution in rivers and lakes, in addition to in regards to the demolition of
about 60,000 hectares of forest land.

The protest on the Lachin-Khankendi street has been happening for
over forty days.
