BAKU, Azerbaijan, May 20. Heart transplantation
operations might start in Azerbaijan within the close to future, Chairman of
the Parliament’s Health Committee Ahliman Amiraslanov mentioned on the
“Baku Heart Days” eighth International Congress, Trend stories.
Amiraslanov reminded that two years in the past, the regulation “On organ
donation and transplantation” was adopted.
“This regulation permits for coronary heart transplantation in Azerbaijan. We
have sufficient specialists who can carry out such operations. Currently,
work is underway on this course. In this regard, the Ministry of
Health and different related our bodies are holding discussions,” he
defined.
The “Baku Heart Days” eighth International Congress devoted to
the one hundredth anniversary of nationwide chief Heydar Aliyev is being
held on the Gulustan Palace.
Within the occasion, on May 19, a spherical desk themed “Future of
Cardiovascular Surgery within the Turkic World” with the participation
of specialists from Azerbaijan, Türkiye, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan,
Turkmenistan, and Kyrgyzstan was held.
On May 20-21, discussions of the most recent scientific improvements
on this subject of healthcare are being held with the participation
of cardiologists and cardiac surgeons from greater than 20
nations.
