BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 19.
Azerbaijan has knowledgeable Russian peacekeeping contingent (RPC) and
Turkish-Russian Monitoring Center about anti-terrorist actions
in Karabakh, the Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan informed Trend.
The Ministry of Defense of Azerbaijan has repeatedly
said that opposite to the provisions of the Trilateral Statement
signed on 10 November 2020, the continued presence of Armenia’s
armed forces formations within the Karabakh area of Azerbaijan is the
supply of grave risk to regional peace and stability.
Therefore, native anti-terrorist actions have been
launched to make sure the provisions of the Trilateral Statement,
suppress large-scale provocations within the Karabakh financial area,
to disarm and safe the withdrawal of formations of Armenia’s
armed forces from our territories, neutralize their navy
infrastructure, present the security of the civilian inhabitants
returned to the territories liberated from occupation, the
civilians concerned in development and restoration work and our
navy personnel, and finally restore the constitutional order
of the Republic of Azerbaijan.
As a part of the measures, positions on the entrance line
and in-depth, long-term firing factors of the formations of
Armenia’s armed forces, in addition to fight property and navy
amenities are incapacitated utilizing high-precision weapons.
“We reiterate that the civilian inhabitants and
civilian infrastructure amenities usually are not focused. Only
official navy targets are being incapacitated. The command of
the peacekeeping contingent of the Russian Federation and the
management of the Turkish-Russian Monitoring Center have been knowledgeable
in regards to the ongoing actions,” stated the ministry.
