Ankara extends hand to Athens, urges aversion from provocation

two nations, Defense Minister Hulusi Akar adopted bittersweet

friendship, the nation’s protection minister on Friday reaffirmed
that Ankara wouldn’t depart any harassment or provocation by Athens
with no response.

neighbor Greece,” Akar stated. He stated Greece refused their
“invitation” and as an alternative, resorted to blaming Türkiye by utilizing
phrases like neo-Ottomanism, revisionism and expansionism. “None of
these have any authentic foundation; they’re groundless. It is Greece
which disrupts the established order; it’s Greece that arms its islands,”
Akar stated.
