Mahindra said that as long as the supply of vaccines is not available directly to the companies, we can help the hospitals to set up such camps financially.

Mahindra Group Chairman Anand Mahindra said on Thursday that as long as companies start getting direct supply of COVID-19 vaccines, they can help hospitals by setting up vaccination camps in the open. This will prevent the risk of spreading infection in hospital premises. In a number of tweets made continuously by the Chairman of Mahindra Group, this type of vaccination centers open will allow large number of people to be vaccinated, while it will not have a bad effect on the regular activities of the hospitals.

He said, “The doctor of a local hospital told me about this scheme in collaboration with the local club. In this, vaccination camps can be organized in the open space of local clubs. Due to this, a large number of people can take the vaccine and there will be no disturbance in the regular low of hospitals.

Mahindra said that the risk of spreading the infection to open places in hospitals is less. “Companies have open spaces in metros. They were also hoping to set up vaccination centers, but now the vaccine-producing companies are supplying vaccines with priority to the states and hospitals till production levels rise.”

Mahindra said that until the vaccine supply is not available directly to the companies, “we can help the hospitals to set up such camps financially”.
