It was written in the letter that the flying crew has no healthcare support, nor any insurance, and large scale salaries of employees are being cut. In such a situation, we cannot endanger the lives of our pilots without vaccination. According to the ICPA, if Air India fails to set up a vaccination camp for flying crews over the age of 18 on priority, then we will stop work. At the moment many crew members have been found to be COVID positive and are struggling to get oxygen cylinders.
