Reliance R&D team has devised a process to make sanitisers as per WHO specifications at 20% of the market cost.

Proposal has been sent for the medicine of Corona
The company has submitted a proposal for the application of Niclosamide as a potential drug against COVID-19. The company is working to address inadequate ventilator supply to emergency rooms in hospitals in India by implementing a concept developed in Italy that enables CPAP machines with 3D-printed Charlotte valves and special snorkeling masks.
Reliance saw a significant increase in onsite oxygen demand as the pandemic broke out. It has started working on a cost-engineered robust design for an oxygen generator capable of producing 5-7 liters of oxygen per minute with an accuracy of 90-95%.
Free petrol for ambulances and emergency vehicles
Reliance BP Mobility Limited has deployed a Mobile Fuel Bowser in Mumbai to supply free fuel for ambulances engaged in COVID-19 service. Reliance BP Mobility Limited is a joint venture between Reliance Industries Limited and British Petroleum (BP) for retail fuel sales. The company, in collaboration with the Reliance Foundation, had launched an initiative in March last year to provide free fuel for COVID emergency service vehicles across the country.
