Wipro Share price: Today, Wipro shares closed at Rs 469.20 and the company’s market cap stood at Rs 257081 lakh crore. The stock also touched a peak of 473.65 during trading.

The company’s stock reached a 52-week high of Rs 473.50.

The stock market closed marginally higher in the last trading session of the week. Today, the 30-share BSE Sensex gained 28.35 points or 0.06 per cent to close at 48,832.03. At the same time, the Nifty of the National Stock Exchange rose by 36.40 points or 0.25 per cent to 14,617.85 points. Today, however, the stock of WIPRO has risen by 9 per cent.

Investors of this company earned around 21 thousand crores today due to the rise in shares. Today, Wipro shares closed at Rs 469.20 and the company’s market cap stood at Rs 257081 lakh crore. The stock also touched a peak of 473.65 during trading. The IT company has released its results for the March quarter. The company made a consolidated net profit of Rs 2,972 crore in the March quarter. At the same time, the company has hoped to maintain the pace of growth in the coming quarters.

Wipro shares hit 52-week high

During the day trading on the BSE, the company’s stock rose by a time of 9.86 per cent to a 52-week high of Rs 473.50. Later it closed at Rs 469.25 with a gain of 8.87 per cent. The company’s stock closed at Rs 469.45, up 8.99 percent on the National Stock Exchange. The market capitalization of the company in BSE increased by Rs 10,777.7 crore to Rs 2,57,108.70 crore. Vinod Modi, strategy head, Reliance Securities, said, “Wipro shares rose today due to good performance in the fourth quarter of the last financial year and projected two-digit growth.”

Asian Paints is the fastest

Today, Asian Paints shares rose almost two percent among the Sensex companies. Shares of UltraTech Cement, ONGC, Sun Pharma, HCL Tech and Nestle India were also profitable. On the other hand, ICICI Bank, Bajaj Finance, L&T, TCS, Infosys and Reliance Industries declined.
